1) Ensure Your Song’s Sound Quality is Professional Level

Playlist curators have high standards. Even a great song may not get a chance if its sound quality is subpar. Your song should be professionally mixed and mastered to meet these standards.

2) Select a Song Proven to Resonate with Listeners

Songs that are of professional quality and have proven to connect with listeners can have great success on Playlist Push. However, even if your song is well-produced, it must resonate with listeners to perform well. Curators only select songs they genuinely enjoy and believe their listeners will enjoy.

To choose a winning song, look for indicators of listener engagement. This can be determined by reviewing the song’s traction on Spotify or other platforms (e.g., blogs and YouTube). If your song hasn't been released yet, get feedback from your team to make this decision.

3) Ensure Your Song Fits the Genres in the Playlist Push Network

Playlist Push has over 4,000 playlists in its network and will likely have playlists that match your song’s style. However, if your song belongs to a very niche genre, we may not have enough playlists to promote it successfully.

Our network is growing daily, so the best way to see if your song fits is to go through the free campaign setup process. This process allows you to select genres matching your song and see how many playlists your campaign would reach.

4) Target the Most Relevant Genres for Your Song

During the campaign process, target genres that align with your song's musical style. Take your time with this step. Refer to the campaign setup FAQ for instructions on selecting genres.

5) Target Enough Playlists

After selecting a great song and targeting the best genres, ensure enough curators will hear your song. Generally, campaigns targeting more playlists generate more adds than smaller campaigns. You will determine the number of playlists targeted during the free campaign setup process.

6) Review the Pre-Campaign Checklist
